School starts August, 19th. Summer break is almost over. I hope you've had a relaxing summer. I've already started preparing for another exciting and productive year of first grade. I hope I will get to meet all of you at open house. Open House will be on Monday, August 17th from 6:00-7:00 P.M. This year we will be using a couple of new programs. We will be using CGI(Cognitive Guided Instuction) in addition to the Harcourt Math. We will also be using the Writing Academy, a new writing program.
